FAQs for new Clouding.io users

  • How to validate my account?
    In order to validate your account, you will only have to confirm an e-mail account, a telephone number and the data of a credit card with 3D Secure. More info.
  • Accepted payment methods 
    You can add balance to your account by debit (it can take up to 72 hours), credit card or Paypal (instant). More info.
  • How to top up balance?
    In order to add balance, go into your panel and click on “ACCOUNT” and the red button with the “+” symbol in the section “Your balance”. More info.
  • How and when will I get my bill?
    Clouding.io is a pre-payment system. Each balance refill generates a bill, that which is sent by e-mail. More info.
  • How is the service billed?
    The service is billed per hours. It will be deducted from your balance depending on your service´s  consumption. More info.
  • How to create my first Server?
    In order to create your first Server, go to your panel and click on “SERVERS” and “click here to create your first server”.  More info.
  • Connect to my Linux or Windows Server (SSH/RDP)
    When you create a server, a few minutes later you´ll get an e-mail with all the access data, depending on its Operating System, you will have to access through SSH or RDP, you can see more details on SSH Access Linux or RDP Access Windows (Remote Desktop). More info.
  • Increase/reduce resources of the Server
    In order to increase or reduce resources, go into your panel and click on “SERVERS” and the “…” of the server to be resized. Remember that the RAM and Vcores can be increased/reduced, the disc can only be increased. More info.
  • Using the console of my Server
    If you have no access to your Server through SSH or RDP you can connect through VCN console from your client panel. More info.
  • Can I send e-mails when my account is on trial?
    No. When your account is on trial, the SMTP will be blocked to avoid spam sending. More info.
  • How to create or restore Backups? 
    Your information is always safe, and in these links you will find how to activate and manage backups, restore them on the same server or create a new server from a Backup.
  • How to create or restore Snapshots?
