We’re adding the new Anti-DDoS service with Path.net

At Clouding, we’re delighted to announce that we’ve incorporated the new Anti-DDoS service with Path.net. With this integration, you’ll gain new features that will help you prevent attacks and ensure the continuity of your projects.

Path.net is a network provider that effectively protects your servers against DDoS attacks in real time. It has a globally distributed network with a high capacity to absorb malicious traffic. It uses intelligent detection systems and applies specific rules based on the type of traffic or use. If you’d like to read more information about its features, you can do so here.

In the lines below we let you know about the new features it introduces, the attacks it blocks, and what types of cloud servers can especially benefit from it.

New features that Path.net introduces

  • Capable to absorb high volumetric attacks: Thanks to its global network, Path can efficiently dissipate large-scale attacks.
  • Edge firewall: Blocks malicious traffic from the first point of entry, preventing it from reaching your servers and applications.
  • Filters for different applications: Offers specific rules and protections for various environments (web applications, game servers, VoIP, etc.), achieving more effective mitigation.
  • Real-time monitoring and mitigation: Quickly detects and neutralizes malicious traffic spikes, minimizing any disruptions.

What kind of attacks does it mitigate?

  • Volumetric attacks (UDP floods, SYN floods, amplification, etc.)
  • Layer 7 attacks (HTTP floods)
  • Anomalous scans and patterns
  • Complex combinations of attack vectors

Types of servers that may benefit especifically from Path

This service is ideal if you work with:

  • Web servers or sites with high traffic (e.g., eCommerce sites with active campaigns)
  • Public APIs or services exposed to the internet
  • Online gaming servers, where latency and continuity are key
  • VoIP or real-time communication servers
  • SaaS projects with a lot of concurrent users

It can also be useful as a preventative measure if you’ve already experienced attack attempts or simply want to secure the availability of your services.

If you’re interested in activating the new feature or assessing whether the service is useful for your business or online project, you can contact our support team at [email protected] or call to +34 93 280 12 06 (Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.).
